Welcome to Pastor Keith's blog. While working out of a blog site is new to me, doing pastoral care via e-mail is not. I've had some wonderful conversations with people and some in-depth discussions through that venue. It works well for some people.
But a blog is much more public. It's the difference between doing pastoral counseling in the office and having a conversation in a classroom or a question and answer period after a sermon.
I'm curious as to where this blog will lead. Maybe you could satisfy my curiosity a bit and send me a note.
Pastor - I think the blog can serve as a way to simply share the things the fall in your path that can help strength our faith. Either through conversations you have with new members, long time members, staff, students, etc. I dont think it has to be a lot, just short/simple "nuggets" that get exposure on the great things happening at Hope.
